La selección de este programa se llevará a cabo en una única fase y los criterios de selección para asignar las plazas son:
- Los docentes pueden venir de todo el mundo, pero se tendrá en cuenta la nacionalidad o residencia preferentemente en Alemania, Argentina, Brasil, Chile, China, Colombia, EEUU, España, México, Perú, Polonia, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reino Unido y Uruguay.
- Nivel de inglés o español (según el idioma que elija el candidato para tomar el curso).
- Análisis de las respuestas proporcionadas en el cuestionario de inscripción.
- Carta de motivación (máximo 280 palabras).

Este programa ofrece 5.000 becas a docentes de todo el mundo para cursar el Online Learning Journey “The New Role of the Educator: Best practices in Online Education”, un curso 100% online que será una guía básica y fundamental para cualquier profesor o docente que se disponga a impartir sus clases en un entorno digital.
Para conseguir estos objetivos se plantea una formación online flexible para ser estudiada al ritmo del usuario y que requerirá alrededor de 6 horas de dedicación. Este curso se puede realizar en español, inglés y en portugués.
Los principales temas a tratar serán:
- Introducción a la formación online.
- Creación o Adaptación de mi curso a un formato online que enganche
- La videoconferencia y el foro de discusión.
- Ejercicios, exámenes y feedback.
- Compartiendo mejores prácticas

This scholarship program offers 5,000 scholarships to teachers to take the Online Learning Journey “The New Role of the Educator: Best practices in Online Education”, an online course that will become a basic and fundamental guide for any university educator that is willing to offer their classes in a digital environment.
In order to achieve these objectives, the course presents flexible training online that enables participants to study at their own pace, and requires about 6 hours of commitment. This course can be taken in Spanish, English or Portuguese.
The main topics included will be:
- Introduction to online training.
- Creation or adaptation of my course to an attractive online format.
- Videoconference and discussion forums.
- Exercises, exams and feedback,

Términos y Condiciones Generales del Santander IE Online Best Practices in Digital Education for Teachers
Objetivo del Programa: ofrecer 5.000 becas para docentes para que cursen unos programas de formación para adquirir una serie de habilidades y herramientas para entender, adaptar, e implementar métodos de enseñanza digitales, así como para ayudarles a mejorar la calidad de sus clases online. Se ofrecerá en español, inglés y portugués.
Destinatarios: profesores de todo el mundo, aunque se dará prioridad a los nacionales o residentes en Alemania, Argentina, Brasil, Chile, China, Colombia, EEUU, España, México, Perú, Polonia, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reino Unido y Uruguay.
Requisitos de admisión: nivel de inglés (sólo para los que realicen el curso en este idioma), análisis del formulario de inscripción, carta de motivación (máx. 280 palabras).
Proceso de selección/responsables: el Comité de Selección integrado por 1 representante de Fundación IE, 1 representante de Banco Santander S.A. y 1 representante del Área de Impacto Social de Santander Universidades del Banco Santander S.A. se responsabilizará de la verificación del cumplimiento de los requisitos antes expuestos a partir de los datos de carácter personal del solicitante de la beca cumplimentados en el cuestionario de inscripción.
Características de la ayuda: las becas incluyen la matrícula y certificado en un OLJ. Al terminar el programa, que debe completarse en un máximo de 6 semanas desde la fecha de inicio del curso, los alumnos recibirán un certificado de finalización del curso.
Asignación de becas entre los candidatos: el Comité de Selección integrado por 1 representante de Fundación IE, 1 representante de Banco Santander S.A. y 1 representante del Área de Impacto Social de Santander Universidades del Banco Santander S.A. asignará las plazas disponibles entre los candidatos. Adicionalmente podrá valorar otros criterios de selección que tenga por convenientes en caso de que la demanda de plazas supere la oferta de plazas. El plazo de inscripción finalizará el miércoles 27 de mayo a las 23:59 GMT+2 (zona horaria Madrid)

General Terms and Conditions for the Santander IE Online Best Practices in Digital Education for Teachers
Objectives of the Program: Offer 5,000 scholarships to educators the possibility to acquire a set of skills and tools to understand, adapt to, and implement digital teaching methods, as well as to help them improve the quality of their online classes. The course will be offered in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Target: Teachers from all over the world, with preference towards those nationals or residents in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, United Kingdom, Uruguay, and USA.
Admissions criteria: English level, analysis of the application form, motivation letter (max. 280 words)
Selection Process/Agents: The Selection Committee –formed by 1 agent from IE Foundation, 1 agent from Banco Santander S.A., and 1 agent from the Social Impact Area of Santander Universidades from Banco Santander S.A.- will be responsible for the monitoring of the compliance of the previously indicated criteria based upon the personal data of the applicants filled in the application form.
Characteristics of the program: The scholarships include the tuition and certificate of one OLJ. Once the program has been completed, after a maximum of 6 weeks since the beginning of the course, students will receive a final certificate form the course.
Scholarships allocation: The Selection Committee –formed by 1 agent from IE Foundation, 1 agent from Banco Santander S.A., and 1 agent from the Social Impact Area of Santander Universidades from Banco Santander S.A.- will allocate the available scholarships to the candidates. Additionally, it may estimate other selection criteria deemed as convenient in case the number of applications is higher than the number of scholarships available. The application process will finish by Wednesday May 27th 11:59 pm GMT+2 (Madrid time zone).

Follow up: Once “The New Role of the Educator: Best practices in Online Education” Santander IE Scholarships Program” and its corresponding scholarships has been allocated by IE Foundation, this institution will provide Santander through the Becas Santander platform or any other channels detailed information regarding said scholarships, as well as any other information related to the Program and its implementation required for a proper follow up.
